Shipping & Receiving Clerk – 2nd Shift at REHAU

Job Description

Position SummaryThe Shipping & Receiving Clerk 2nd Shift is responsible for coordinating and executing both inbound and outbound activities within the Distribution Center. This role ensures accurate documentation timely processing of shipments and receipts and effective communication with carriers suppliers and internal teams to support daily logistics operations.Key ResponsibilitiesShipping OperationsProcess outbound shipments in SAP including shipment creation confirmations and documentation.Prepare bills of lading packing lists shipping labels and related paperwork.Coordinate with carriers and drivers to schedule pickups and ensure on-time departures.Verify shipment accuracy against orders and documentation.Resolve basic shipping discrepancies shortages or system issues.Receiving OperationsProcess inbound receipts in SAP including verification of purchase orders and documentation.Inspect incoming materials for accuracy quality and damage.Unload deliveries safely and stage materials for storage or production.Communicate discrepancies or damaged goods to supervisors and procurement.Communication & CoordinationServe as the main point of contact for 2nd shift shipping and receiving questions.Communicate status updates delays and issues with supervisors and warehouse teams.Support hand-off communication between shifts to ensure continuity of operations.Inventory Quality & SafetyEnsure shipments and receipts meet accuracy quality and customer requirements.Follow FIFO and company inventory control procedures.Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas.Adhere to all safety security and REHAU warehouse policies.Continuous Improvement & SupportAssist with special projects as assigned.Support audits reports and data entry related to shipping and receiving activities.Identify process improvements to support efficient logistics operations.Assist shipping techs with picking and loading trucks.Minimum RequirementsDistribution Center or warehouse experience preferred.Strong SAP or computer system experience required.Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.Ability to work independently during 2nd shift hours.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Must be able to lift up to 3550 lbs. as needed.Preferred QualificationsPrior experience as a Shipping or Receiving Clerk.Familiarity with bills of lading carrier paperwork and receiving procedures.Forklift experience or willingness to be trained.Work EnvironmentWarehouse environment with exposure to powered industrial equipment.Requires standing walking lifting and computer use throughout the shift Key Skills Endpoint Security,Customer Service,Finance Control,Inventory Management,Adobe Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
