JOB DESCRIPTION

Shipping/Receiving Coordinator

Our client, a manufacturing organization specializing in tissue converting, is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Coordinator to join their team. As a Shipping/Receiving Coordinator, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting logistics and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Henderson, NC

Pay Range: $15

Shift: 1st shift 8:00am-5:00pm

What's the Job?

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Load and unload trucks using a forklift and other material handling equipment
  • Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and report discrepancies
  • Prepare shipping documents including bills of lading and shipment tickets
  • Serve as the point of contact for drivers, assisting with scheduling and task coordination

What's Needed?

  • HS Diploma/GED required
  • 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in a warehouse environment
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel); ERP experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
