This role ensures inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, and efficient workflow while maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. The position also supports continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives. Responsibilities: Direct and supervise the daily operations of the Shipping & Receiving department, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timely completion of all inbound and outbound shipments.Ensure all materials, products, and resources are properly received, stored, and shipped to meet production and customer requirements.Maintain positive associate relations and a collaborative, union-free work environment.Develop and monitor departmental safety programs, ensuring a safe and injury-free workplace.Monitor departmental performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives, including ISO 9001 compliance within the department.Coordinate with other departments to manage workflow, inventory levels, and timely delivery of products.Evaluate and recommend process improvements, equipment upgrades, and workflow optimizations to increase efficiency, accuracy, and reduce costs.Investigate and resolve shipping, receiving, and inventory discrepancies to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with company standards.Perform quality checks on received and shipped materials.Support preventive maintenance and inventory control efforts.Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflow and reduce errors.Train and mentor associates in safety, equipment operation, and standard procedures.Available to work overtime when required and able to meet physical demands of the role. Requirements: High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required. Technical training or post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain, or industrial management preferred.Experience in warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations.Familiarity with inventory management systems, shipping documentation, and logistics processes.Proven leadership experience managing teams in a warehouse or operations setting.Demonstrated success in improving accuracy, safety, and efficiency UNUSUAL ENVIRONMENT FACTORS: Normal manufacturing environment with some dust and noise.EMC expects that every team member will be guided by EMC's Guiding Principles.DisclaimerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
