Shop Helper

The Shop Helper will be integral to the production process, responsible for grinding recently welded parts, deburring metal components, and operating a sit-down forklift to transport materials like aluminum and stainless steel between the welding and fabrication departments.

Responsibilities

• Grind recently welded parts to ensure smooth finishes.
• Deburr metal parts to prepare them for further processing.
• Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials such as aluminum and stainless steel.
• Assist in general labor tasks within the shop.
• Support production and assembly processes.
• Aid in fabrication and inventory management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the work area.

Essential Skills

• Experience in general labor tasks.
• Proficiency in grinding and deburring.
• Ability to handle materials efficiently.
• Competence in operating a sit-down forklift.
• Understanding of production and assembly processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of material handling and safety procedures.
• Familiarity with machine operation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
