JOB DESCRIPTION
Shop Helper
The Shop Helper will be integral to the production process, responsible for grinding recently welded parts, deburring metal components, and operating a sit-down forklift to transport materials like aluminum and stainless steel between the welding and fabrication departments.
Responsibilities
- Grind recently welded parts to ensure smooth finishes.
- Deburr metal parts to prepare them for further processing.
- Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials such as aluminum and stainless steel.
- Assist in general labor tasks within the shop.
- Support production and assembly processes.
- Aid in fabrication and inventory management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the work area.
Essential Skills
- Experience in general labor tasks.
- Proficiency in grinding and deburring.
- Ability to handle materials efficiently.
- Competence in operating a sit-down forklift.
- Understanding of production and assembly processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of material handling and safety procedures.
- Familiarity with machine operation.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
