Position Summary
Midwest Electric & Generator is seeking a dependable and hands-on Shop Manager to support our Elk River location. This position works in a heated shop environment and provides operational support to the Service Manager through general shop organization, equipment staging, vehicle transport, and delivery coordination.
This is a full-time, year-round opportunity with a stable and growing company.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain shop cleanliness, organization, and efficiency
- Stage generators and equipment for upcoming installations
- Put away inventory and manage basic stock organization
- Transport company vehicles as needed
- Make local site deliveries
- Support the Service Manager and field technicians with daily operational needs
- Operate the forklift safely and efficiently
- Maneuver trucks and trailers, including backing trailers

Required Qualifications
- Forklift experience required
- Strong ability to maneuver trucks and back up trailers
- Valid driver's license with no major violations
- Clean criminal background
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a physically active shop environment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card (if applicable)
Compensation details: 17-20 Hourly Wage
