Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPerform inspections and mechanical adjustments, diagnose, repairs and parts replacements for company fleet vehicles and heavy equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose services through proficient use of electronic testing equipmentPerform minor repairs (i.e. electrical components, power windows, power, mirrors, door locks, etc.)Perform routine vehicle maintenance on company vehicles, fleet trucks ( i.e. mechanical work on brakes, fuel pumps, alternators, air conditioning, oil changes, tire balancing and rotation, replacing batteries, etc.)Ensure repair orders are completed accurately including use of current parts and manufacturer updates and changes of vehicle requirementsPerform other duties as assigned b manager or supervisorOvertime (more than 40 hours per week) may be required at times as business needs dictateRequirementsMust have 10+ years of relevant experienceStrong diagnostic skills, electrical skills and well rounded on engines and transmissionsMust have a good driving recordCDL and State Inspection is a plusEducation & Special KnowledgeHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferredValid Driver's license and safe driving record requiredCDL license with air brake certification is a plus but not requiredBenefitsHealth and Dental Insurance401KProfit SharingFree Life InsurancePaid HolidaysPaid Time OffCurtis Contracting, Inc.
