Talon Recruiting has partnered with a leading heavy equipment distributor in search of a Shop Service Technician to join their team in Springfield MO.Our Shop Service Technician will troubleshoot and repair heavy construction equipment in-shop. This person will specialize in custom solutions for critical and complex applications service and repair of diesel-powered heavy construction equipment and associated accessories. The opening is for our Fenton MO location; Mon-Fri. (Day shift)Job Duties:Utilize OEM technology to troubleshoot equipment failures in-house and handle repairs of equipment as directed.Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on equipment in the field.Complete required documentation such as service worksheets timesheets warranty claims quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.Understand schematics diagrams hydraulic and electrical systems.Diagnose Mechanical issues utilizing company-issued laptop.Maintain clean organized work area.Exhibit professionalism and positive attitude.Willingness to learn and teach others; team player.Experience Education Skills & Knowledge:High school diploma GED required.
