Assist in special programs and activities when interpreting is necessary. Attend in-service training as scheduled and interpret workshops as required to keep certification current.Typical FunctionsLevel DescriptorEducation and ExperienceState certification through DRS/QAST (Quality Assurance Screening Test). National certification through the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf. Knowledge Skills Abilities and CompetenciesSpecial RequirementsAdditional Job DescriptionPosition is located at Oklahoma School for the Deaf in Sulphur.Preferred Qualifications: American Sign Language Skills.
