RESPONSIBILITIESFollow a layout to produce top-quality signs via several fabrication methods including a flatbed printer, applying printed or cut vinyl, flatbed cutter/router, and moreAccurately prepare substrates for sign production. This may include cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, and maintaining the substrates for vinylPerform quality assurance measures pre- and post-construction by accurately reading and interpreting a Work Order and then proofing for errors or unacceptable standards (bubbles, ragged edges, loose seams).Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs when necessary.Perform finishing operations such as laminating, encapsulating, and/or mounting printed graphicsInstall vinyl graphics or finished signs at customer locations on a variety of surfaces and using a variety of toolsCommunicate with other employees and customers in a calm and professional manner; express yourself verbally and listen well.Keep the production area neat, organized, and cleanTYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDSAbility to stand for extended periods of timeFlexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back-and-forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphicsAbility to lift 50lbs or moreAbility to work under pressure to output high volume, high qualityAbility to use light power toolsCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITSCompensation is hourly, based on experienceHealth/Dental/Vision Insurance with company contributionAccrued PTOPaid HolidaysSIMPLE IRA with mathOnline University to learn and growCompensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hourAt FASTSIGNS, every day is unique and presents exciting opportunities, including new ways to use your talent and grow your skills.
