Suite A Johns Island SC 29455).Primary Function/General Purpose of PositionThe Center Administrator assist in managing operations for urgent care clinics by managing staffing training supplies workflow billing processes and customer service as well as maintaining a safe positive work environment.Essential Job FunctionsWorks primary shifts as clinical staff and/or front desk receptionist as needed.Monitors clinic activity and patient flow to ensure efficient and effective patient care.Participates in promotion of positive culture and teamwork.Demonstrates excellence in care in all interactions for both patients and internal teams.Identifies opportunities for improvement troubleshoots issues and/or communicate/escalate timely to Provider direct supervisor or other appropriate internal resources.Maintains a safe and supportive environment by keeping the work area exam rooms and equipment in clean orderly and safe manner.Maintains clinical and administrative skills to meet patient care and daily operational needs.Understands and adheres to the legal responsibilities and requirements within the role.Open to travel to other urgent care facilities if necessary or adjusting work hours to meet patient care needs as directed by the manager.Performs cross-functional duties as needed including front desk duties such as registration scheduling answering phones cash handling and other duties such as scribing ordering of supplies etc.Participates in interviews for front desk receptionist medical assistant x-ray technician and other support staff positions.Creates and maintain staff work schedules and ensure optimal staffing across functional areas within clinic.Assists in evaluation of behaviors and disciplinary action of staff.Ensures employees are adequately trained to perform assigned duties safely and correctly.Ensures excellence in customer experience by addressing customer feedback monitoring patient satisfaction metrics and implementing solutions for improvements.Ensures staff compliance with company policies and procedures and state and federal rules and regulations.Maintains proper inventory process and ordering to ensure adequate stock of supplies.Participates in meetings for regular touch base and for special project as needed.Assists in problem solving and implementation of operational strategies under the direction of clinic and market leadership.This document is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities skills duties requirements or working conditions associated with the job.
