Primary responsibilities involve installation of smart home monitoring systems (Curb) solar site surveys and support for Elevation Energy Efficiency operations. This role is based in the metropolitan Phoenix AZ area.RequirementsEssential Duties & Responsibilities:Conduct site surveys at the time of Curb install or independentlyObtain land survey data such as angles elevations points and contours using electronic distance measuring equipment and other surveying instrumentsPlace and recover markings stakes and other such signifiers at work locationsCompile notes sketches and records of survey data obtained and work performedPerform smart home monitoring systems (Curb) installations and troubleshooting as neededSupport Elevation Energy Efficiency operations in audits and installs as neededIdentify electrical environmental and safety hazards associated with work on live electrical systemsDocument completion of completed installationClean up of job site(s)Attend mandatory training sessions on new products installation methodology and safetyPerform other duties and tasks as requiredRequirementsQualifications1-3 years of site survey experience preferred1-3 years of electrical and/or solar experience preferredAt least a rudimentary understanding of electrical theory and electrical systems/circuits preferredExperience installing outlets and junction boxes beneficialBasic computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office programsCustomer service skills requiredRegular reliable and predictable attendance requiredMust have a valid state drivers licenseMust have a clean driving recordMust be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal driving and drug screenMust be authorized to work in the United StatesWorking Conditions & Physical Requirements:8-hour shift with some weekend work as needed.Additional hours are based on the managers requirements Work outside in a variety of temperatures and conditions in accordance with Heat Stress proceduresWork around energized electrical equipmentAbility to work in stressful environments: must be able to react to crises where immediate action is required to correct or curtail potentially damaging or hazardous situations.Requires ability to perform tasks by walking standing sitting kneeling crouching squatting twisting pushing pulling shoveling climbing and working with hand tools (up to 25 pounds) in positions above and below head and extended from body to complete repairsAbility to discern assorted colorsAbility to twist the body and neck while driving company vehiclesAbility to climb ladders and work on rooftopsWork with and around hazardous and non-hazardous materialsMust be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as requiredHave ability to discern and respond to verbal and auditory signalsWork in small spaces like atticsEqual Opportunity EmployerElevation Solar is an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants equally without regard to race color religion sex sexual orientation gender identity national origin veteran status or disability status.Reasonable Accommodations StatementTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty.
