JOB DESCRIPTION

Immediate Opening: Skilled Caregiver Columbia, MO

Schedule: Daily 7 am to 7 pm and Monday, Saturday, and Sunday 7 pm to 7 am

Phoenix Home Care and Hospice is hiring a dependable, experienced caregiver to provide one on one support in Columbia. This position requires strong hands-on care skills, prior in-home care experience, and confidence assisting clients with mobility and personal care needs. Experience using a gait belt, assisting with toileting is required. Hospice experience is highly beneficial.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist with bathing and dressing
  • Provide hands on toileting support
  • Safely assist with transfers and mobility using a gait belt
  • Assist with meal times
  • Offer companionship and attentive support throughout the entire shift

What We Are Looking For:

  • Previous professional caregiving experience
  • Experience with memory care is required
  • Experience using a gait belt and assisting with toileting
  • Hospice experience is a plus
  • Reliable, patient, and compassionate demeanor
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
