Newark NJJob Summary:This role involves supporting daily operations through hands-on physical tasks assisting skilled team members and maintaining a clean safe work environment. Were looking for reliable hard-working individuals with experience in seafood handling processing and cutting & filleting fish. If youre motivated dependable and ready to grow in a supportive environment we want to hear from you!Positions Available:Multiple positions available immediate start.Requirements:Minimum 2 years of experience in the fish market industryMust know how to cut and fillet fishMust know the difference between fish and shellfishStrong understanding of product handling safety procedures and workplace policiesProduct Knowledge:Understanding of various fish and seafood types (fresh frozen shellfish)Ability to identify quality freshness and proper handling requirementsKnowledge of safe thawing storage temperatures and shelf-life standardsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious experience in seafood industries seafood products or freezer warehouse environmentsAbility to follow verbal and written instructionsPC knowledge for basic computer programsStrong work ethic reliability and willingness to learnBilingual (Spanish-speaking) preferredPhysical Requirements:Ability to work in cold wet environments for extended periodsComfortable lifting heavy boxes seafood crates and ice (up to 50 lbs)Standing for long shifts and working in fast-paced conditionsBasic mechanical aptitudeGood teamwork and communication skillsAwareness of workplace safety practicesFlexibility to perform different tasks as neededCompensation & Benefits:Starting at $20/hour and up based on experienceOvertime availablePlenty of opportunities for growth and skill developmentSchedule:MondayFriday 12:00 AM 8:00 AMRotating Saturdays requiredEqual Opportunity Employer:ATC Healthcare Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
