As an employee at Duro Dyne/Supco you reap the benefits of being part of an expanding company that still maintains a progressive employee culture and atmosphere.The Shipping/Small Parcel Clerk primary function is properly receiving incoming inventory timely staging and timely shipping outgoing orders while adhering to safety procedures and providing accurate timely shipments.Job Duties:Prepares orders for small parcel shipmentsCompletes and accurately fills out all shipping documentsEnsure orders are prioritizedAssists in loading truckResponsible for shift end reportsVerifies that all material is inspected and proper bar code identification labels are affixed on boxes/containers before material is put awayCheck and verify accuracy of picked orders and proper packing of cartons and skidsPrepare formal packing slipsRoute shipments and prepare bills of ladingReview invoices and all notes on ordersCheck inventory pick/pack and ship according to customer requestTracks traces and updates the status of outgoing shipmentsMaintains a clean and neat work areaMaintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves scanning inventory and counting accuratelyProvides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departmentsOther duties as assignedSkills and qualifications:Strong time management organizational and interpersonal skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work flexible hoursBasic computer skillsKnowledge in Excel/Word/OutlookAble to work independently and within a teamFamiliar with material handling equipment forklift & pallet jackMust be able to read/write in EnglishBilingual preferred Education High School Diploma or equivalentExperience Minimum of 1-2 years of Shipping experience Physical Requirements EssentialProlonged periods of standing and/or walkingAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.
