Job Title: SmartCOMM Engineer Location: San Ramon CA (Remote within US) Duration: 6 months Contract Client is seeking a SmartCOMM Engineer to lead the migration from two legacy CCM platforms to SmartCOMM. This is a strategic hands-on role requiring deep expertise in SmartCOMM customer communications and cloud-based integrations. Youll work alongside a senior technical resource to assess the current state guide planning and deliver scalable solutions tailored to a highly regulated enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities: Audit & Assessment: Evaluate the current SmartCOMM implementation and legacy systems to identify gaps and opportunities. Migration Strategy: Develop a roadmap and guide the transition from legacy platforms to SmartCOMM. Hands-On Development: Contribute to coding scripting and configuration as needed. Collaboration: Partner with internal teams including BSA developers and leadership to ensure alignment and execution. Integration Planning: Architect integrations with platforms such as Adobe AWS Snowflake and other enterprise systems. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure solutions meet strict regulatory standards and support auditability. Must-Have Skills & Experience: 2 years of experience with SmartCOMM Strong understanding of SmartCOMM APIs cloud-native environments and data transformation. Familiarity with Scripting Languages SQL SML Expression Thunder and Jira. Experience with Git CI/CD pipelines and troubleshooting payload/spooling issues. Ability to work in a highly regulated environment with attention to compliance and documentation. Programming Experience (at least one of the following): Technical degree with strong programming component Strong evidence of existing programming skills JavaScript HTML/CSS Object-Oriented Programming Unit Testing Core Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Teamwork and collaboration Fast learner with adaptability in dynamic environments Advantageous Skills & Experience: TypeScript Playwright Web Accessibility Agile/Scrum methodologies Git (advanced usage) Web security principles Continuous Delivery practices Success Criteria: Rapid onboarding and assessment of current state.
