ResponsibilitiesPeraton is seeking a Software Developer to be a part of CFTC Data Engineering and Architecture team. Peraton serves as a valued partner to essential government agencies across the intelligence space cyber defense civilian health and state and local markets. Every day our employees do the cant be done solving the most daunting challenges facing our customers.This position is Hybrid Must be local to the CFTC DC office able to work in the office 3 days a week What you will do:Design and develop cloud-native solutions. This is an opportunity to use the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your clients environment using current cloud capabilities.Develop Databases Data Warehouses and the ETL applications and infrastructure necessary to populate them.Troubleshooting and performance tuning services in development test and production environmentsMaintain document and diagram cloud solutions gathering requirements to support the platform and systemsExtend bug fix and maintain code to meet user requirements/issues.Maintain Stored-procedures Views and SSIS packages to address users requests and concerns.Do root-cause analysis for users questions/concerns.Communicate with business user groups and stakeholders to understand requirements present work and trouble shoot.Critical thinker with ability to connect the dots of technical work to big picture plan.QualificationsRequired Qualification:5 years with BS/BA or 9 years of experience with a HS Degree/Diploma.Minimum 5 years of experience with Software Development.Experience with SQL Server PostgreSQL AWS RedshiftExperience with Sql Server Integration ServicesExcellent communication skills.Experience communicating with business users and stakeholders.Critical thinking skills and ability to connect the dots of technical work to big picture plan.Must be a US Citizen.Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust clearance.Preferred Qualifications:Federal or Government contracting and consulting experience is a plus.AWS Cloud CertificationsPeraton OverviewPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the individuals experience education knowledge skills and competencies as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
