Software Developer at Y-Prime, LLC

Y-Prime, LLC seeks a Software Developer in Malvern, PA. The Software Developer will be responsible for working as part of a cross-functional project team to build, test, and release software quickly and reliably, in addition to generating technical solutions and managing application code deployment. The Software Developer will be responsible for the following job duties: Developing and maintaining complex applications using C#, .NET, Xamarin, SQL Server, JavaScript, RESTFul APIs, MVC and MVVM architecture; Being conversant across front and back-end development to make modifications and enhancements across all aspects of the system; Developing software systems that are reliable, maintainable, and efficient, with emphasis on patient safety and integrity of clinical study data; Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, deliver, and support Technical solutions; Reproducing minor software bugs, implementing fixes, and providing clear and concise responses to tasks assigned during core hours; Bringing a passion to stay on top of new technologies trends; Recognizing when timelines are at jeopardy and knowing when to ask for help; Reviewing user requirements specifications and verifying that all requirements can be implemented in the required timeframe; Participating in the product research and development process by providing the engineering team with new solutions and ideas based on project experience; Ongoing interaction with project managers and testing on application usability, features and performance; Assisting with the creation of implementation design and technical design documentation; Assisting the support team with troubleshooting and resolution of issues reported on production systems; Continuously improve software engineering practices; Generating ideas for innovative technological solutions to increase the quality of YPrime systems; Collaborating with peers to learn and implement new techniques for code design and development; Knowing what to look for when performing code reviews; Understanding the individual design requirements for a specific client implementation and identifying any required custom development; Knowing when to escalate an issue and doesn’t spend too much time on dead ends; Documenting all design and technical decisions; Managing the deployment of application code into all environments, completing all required documentation; and Commanding a sense of urgency and seeking out information, knowledge and development proactively.
