The value of the COSMOS platform is to provide streamlined/automated ATO for IL-4/5 along with commercial experience to the government space.We are seeking a talentedSeniorSoftwareDeveloper to design build andmaintainscalable secure and high-performing cloud-based this role you willleverageyourexpertisein AWS services and modern development frameworks to drive impactful solutions for our role is expected to be onsite inChantillyVAthe majority ofthe time.Experience:5 years of AWS Cloud Development & Application Deployment experienceAWS CDK AWS SDKCodeCommitCodePipelineand Lambda experience5 years of JavaScript/TypeScript and programming experienceAWS DevOps experience a plusJobResponsibilities:Design and deploy cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK and SDK.Workextensively with AWS services includingAPIGateway Lambda Step Functions S3 RDS Postgres DynamoDB SQS andEventBridge.Develop deploy and manage REST APIs using 22 and AWS Lambda.Create andmaintainresponsive UI components with 18 and Material UI.Use React hooksTanStack and Axios to implement effective state management and API communication.Write high-quality maintainable code in TypeScript5 and ECMAScript 2025/16.Manage application security with AWS IAM SSMParameter Store and Secrets Manager.OptimizeSQL queries for performance and scalability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver cloud-first solutions.Conduct code reviews and contribute to architectural discussionsand team planning.Stay current with cloud technologies and modern development practices.Required Skills & Qualifications:Proficiencywith AWS CDK and SDK for infrastructure as codeHands-on experience in 22 REST API development and operations with AWS Lambda.Proficiencyin 18 and Material UI forfrontenddevelopment.Expertisein React hooksTanStack and Axios for state and data management.Strong knowledge of TypeScript5 and ECMAScript 2025/16..Deep experience with AWS services such as Gateway Lambda Step Functions S3 RDS Postgres DynamoDB and SQS.Familiarity with AWS IAM SSMParameter Store and Secrets Manager.Strong understanding of SQL query optimization techniques.Preferred Skills & Qualifications:Experience withrRPCKysely Zoddayjs and Vite JS library.Knowledge of data visualization libraries such asamChartsandReCharts.The ideal candidate will have 5 years experience with full life-cycle software development (analysis design development test deployment maintenance) and application of industry-proven design patterns andopen sourcetools.
