This Job is for a most challenging complex high volume and large scale project having all possible AWS servicesIntegrations involved CI/CD pipeline creation and management CDK development Cloud application development deployment across number of AWS regions Tools development for monitoring and operational excellence.Key job responsibilitiesThe Engineer in this job is expected to make the design (High level and Low level) own end to end (depth) for specific set of features while having breadth on rest of the features and provide technical guidance for the Junior members in the team.A day in the life1. Feature development2. Peer Code and design review3. Interact with internal and external stakeholders (Dev and QA) on clarifying the requirements resolving the dependencies etc.4. Oncall rotationAbout the teamTeam is working on a most business critical high visibility large scale & high device volume project involving embedded development (Device side) Cloud development (AWS services API CDK Pipelines Container management) etc.- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java C or C# including object-oriented design- Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle including coding standards software architectures code reviews source control management continuous deployments testing and operational excellence- 2 years of Amazon experience or experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings- 5 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience- 3 years of leading development of applications backed by AWS services or using other cloud based technologies and services experienceAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status disability or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
