This is an exciting time to join as we grow and bring new features and technologies to our award winning construction collaboration products.An SDET is responsible for improving the quality of software releases through manual testing and tools enhancements. Working in an agile development environment the SDET will develop and apply customized testing methodologies to show measurable improvements to the released software. This person will develop test cases based on key product workflows that will improve quality of testing during the software release cycle.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop quality testing procedures; update and modify existing tests as necessaryDefine test objectives and collaborate with team members to achieve project goalsPerform moderately complex functional application regression performance and integration testingDefine and adhere to quality initiativesProvide metrics and results from all testing efforts that will support business decisionsResearch new emerging technologies to improve efficiency of testing practicesQualificationsCurrently pursing a Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science or related fieldExperience in C# Typescript and/or SQL a plusDesire to learn about software automation for new product releasesWillingness and ability to quickly adapt and maintain software products and current testing technologiesAbility to accurately estimate task durations and meet schedulesStrong initiative customer-service oriented mindset and commitment to insure timely and quality solutions to customer issuesWell-organized self-directed team player. Remains open to ideas and exhibits willingness to try new thingsPrioritize and plan work activities use time efficiently and develop realistic action plansDemonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and monitor own work to ensure qualityPresent information effectively and is capable of interpreting written technical documentationAdapt to changes in the work environment manage competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change delays or unexpected eventsDemonstrate professionalism positive attitude and strong work ethicStrong verbal and written communication skillsAble to thrive in a highly collaborative team work environmentCompensation: Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
