Join Roche where every voice matters.The PositionIn this role you will work with a highly collaborative team of imaging scientists product managers and software developers to build imaging and data analysis algorithms and solutions in the field of Digital Pathology. You will be a technical expert for Software Development in Test providing operations support and work alongside team members focused on Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and software verification of image processing algorithms pattern recognition and integration with platform software.The Opportunity:Your responsibilities in this role will include:Collaborate with DevOps and Development teams for Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to rapidly diagnose replicate and confirm fixes for production defectsCollaborate with cross functional leads to align on work scope & release timelinesWork closely with imaging scientists subject matter experts to understand the algorithms and perform necessary data analysis for confirming the technical performance specifications and scientific accuracy. Also troubleshoot failures and report any issues identified.Develop reusable and scalable data analysis tools libraries used for component as well as end-to-end verification.Participate in requirements architecture and design specification reviewsExecute targeted risk-based regression testing on PE environments following hotfixes and emergency changesFollow defined software development lifecycle procedures and best practicesWho you are:Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science Biomedical engineering or related field or equivalent work experience5 years of professional experience with Python or equivalent scripting language5 years of hands on experience in software development in test test automation frameworks CI/CD tools cloud and container management technologiesExperienced in Agile software development process and software engineering best practicesExperienced in recruiting building & coaching high-performing engineering teamsExcellent verbal & written communication skillsNice to have:2 years of experience in algorithm test engineering and analyzing histopathology imagesExperience in Performance testingExperience in medical device software or regulated software verificationRelocation benefits are not available for this postingThe expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $118658 - $214000.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience qualifications geographic location and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
