Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) II at World 50 Group

The SDET II role combines Software Development expertise with Quality Assurance to create and maintain automated testing frameworks tools and test suites. SDETs help ensure product reliability and performance.Core ResponsibilitiesDesign develop and maintain automated test frameworks and testing toolsWrite and execute automated tests across different layers (unit integration end-to-end)Collaborate with developers to ensure testability of features and applicationsParticipate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and qualityInvestigate and analyze test failures to identify root causesDocument test strategies test cases and testing proceduresSupport continuous integration and deployment processesRequired Technical CompetenciesTest Automation - IntermediateJavaScript/Typescript - IntermediateAPI testing - IntermediateCI/CD Tools - BasicVersion Control (Git) - IntermediateSQL/Database - BasicPerformance Testing - BasicRequired Tools & FrameworksJest or Vitest for unit testingCypress or Playwright for E2E testingPostman or similar API testing toolsGit for version controlExperience with CI/CD platformsQualifications3 years of experience in software testing and test automationStrong understanding of testing methodologies and best practicesExperience with agile development processesBachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experienceCore TraitsHumility - Comfortable asking questions admitting uncertainties and seeking help when needed.
