You will play an active role in translating business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables and build quick prototypes or proofs of concept in partnership with other technology leaders within the team. You will tackle challenging novel situations and will have the opportunity to work with multiple technical teams spanning a variety of domains: software hardware networks RF embedded real-time distributed as well as industrial automation systems.Key job responsibilitiesYou will design and develop manufacturing software to drive the assembly calibration testing and provisioning of satellites. You will collaborate with teams from manufacturing engineering product engineering and security engineering to identify requirements and design manufacturing software. These products enable industrial automation for the manufacturing of the Leo satellite fleet and its supporting ground equipment. You will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary team to develop qualify produce and deploy solutions and products enabling Leos global network.About the teamAmazon Leo Manufacturing Software Systems (MSS) team builds comprehensive software solutions test frameworks information systems and manufacturing test stations that power manufacturing test operations as satellites are produced. Working closely with hardware software and test engineering teams MSS delivers the tools and frameworks that enable consistent test operations - from fabrication to final provisioning - across internal facilities and external contract manufacturers. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
