Software Development Project ManagerCompany:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Software Development Project Manager to support the Sales Initiatives & Analytics team based out of Renton Washington.The Project Manager will lead the development and delivery of a strategic application that will support data-driven decision making for senior leadership; this mid-level role will be responsible for managing all phases of the project lifecycle including requirements gathering solution design development deployment and user adoption.The successful candidate will demonstrate experience coordinating cross-functional teams managing complex software and data integration projects and driving alignment between technical solutions and business objectives. Strong communication organizational and leadership skills are essential as is the ability to foster collaboration and deliver results in a dynamic environment.Position Responsibilities:Oversee the planning execution and delivery of application development and data integration initiativesDevelop and maintain comprehensive project plans and schedulesCoordinate and motivate cross-functional teams including software engineers data architects business analysts and stakeholdersFacilitate requirements gathering user story development and solution design sessionsEnsure alignment between technical solutions and business objectivesIdentify and manage project risks issues and dependencies; develop and implement mitigation strategiesTrack and report on project progress milestones and deliverables to senior leadershipOversee change management training and user adoption activitiesFoster a collaborative results-driven team environment focused on continuous improvementBasic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience): 3 years of experience leading software development projects3 years of experience utilizing project management tools and methods3 years of experience using analytical collaboration communication and organizational skills1 years of experience leading a cross-functional teamExperience working in a fast-paced scaled Agile software development environmentPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):Bachelors Degree or higher in Business Project Management Engineering Computer Science or related field or equivalent experienceExperience managing projects involving enterprise data architecture database technologies or back-end developmentExperience delivering applications for business intelligence analytics or decision supportExperience in the aerospace or manufacturing industryFamiliarity with DevOps practices and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure)PMP Scrum Master or other relevant project management certificationExcellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skillsDrug Free Workplace:Boeingis a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Total RewardsAt Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
