We're creating tools that make people smarter, reinventing how you discover, create, and share knowledge.About the roleAs a backend engineer at Rogo, you'll be at the cutting edge of AI research and application development, playing a crucial role in creating a category-defining product and scaling it to massive enterprises.ResponsibilitiesConnect traditional SaaS with AI: develop end-to-end features touching all parts of the stack to enable AI workflow and tasks.Architect REST APIs that are backed by stable, scalable server side implementations and maximize web client flexibility for rapidly meeting evolving product requirementsShip secure and compliant code: implement security concepts to develop software dealing with sensitive data, work with the security teams choosing what to build vs buy.Write robust code that’s easy to read, maintain and testRaise the bar for code quality, reliability and product velocity. Collaboratively, you'll push yourself and peers to develop technically and interpersonally. QualificationsRequirementsBachelors in Computer Science or related degree. You love writing asynchronous codeYou write amazing code, fast.Experience building backend platforms that can support multiple product lines.5+ years of experience building and scaling distributed systems.Strong attention to detail and spidey sense for where and when things could go wrong.Track record of shipping high-quality products.Strong programming skills and general Computer Science knowledge.BonusExperience with a strongly typed language (e.g., Rust)Early engineer at a hyper-growth startup.Experience in world-class product organizations (e.g., Notion, Figma).Financial services experience.WHO YOU AREYou thrive in fast-paced environments.
