We are looking for software engineers excited by the opportunity to improve health care in far-reaching ways. As a Back End Engineer, you’ll help develop and optimize the services that power Truveta Studio, our customer-facing product for exploring real-world health data. You’ll work closely with other engineers, and product teams to design reliable APIs, improve system performance, and enable seamless integration with our in-house agent, Tru.Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain performant backend services and APIs using C#/.NET, Node.js, and TypeScriptDevelop an MCP server to enable Generative AI scenarios for our customersBuild scalable and reliable services on cloud-native platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)Use modern data and caching systems such as Cosmos DB, ADLS, Redis, and AKS to deliver resilient, high-throughput solutionsCollaborate across teams to design clean API contracts, improve system reliability, and ensure smooth data and service integrationsFollow best practices in code quality, testing, security, and performanceParticipate in design and code reviews, promoting high engineering standards and knowledge sharingStay curious and adaptable, continuously learning new technologies and techniques to improve both individual and team effectivenessKey Qualifications: 2+ years of experience building production quality software in a team setting1+ years of experience building and maintaining cloud-native applications (Azure, AWS, GCP)BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experienceProficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, or TypeScriptExperience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs or microservicesStrong communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative mindset and commitment to product qualityExperience with the following is a plus:GraphQL API design and implementationModern DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelinesSystem monitoring, observability, and performance tuning Why Truveta?Be a part of building something special. The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target. Pay is based on several factors including location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
