Software & Data Engineer at Ursa Major

We're growing our internal software capabilities to accelerate how we design, build, and test rocket engines, to fly faster. We are looking for a Software and Data Engineer to generate new business intelligence applications, inside Palantir’s Foundry platform. You will be working with a Product Owner to design, implement, deploy and maintain applications inside Palantir Foundry, and a staff level Software Engineer. Your work will have a larger impact than just implementing tools and processes. Your work will directly shape how Ursa Major continues its growth as a local manufacturing company that is enabling the future of both defense and commercial aerospace.  Responsibilities Collaborate with Product Owner and stakeholders to design intuitive interfaces and dashboards Design and document data logic, lineage, and tooling for discoverability and maintainability Identify opportunities for system optimization and automation Design, develop, and deploy data pipelines and workflows within Palantir Foundry Develop Ontology objects to manage and reason over data within Palantir Foundry Configure and maintain data integrations from various source systems into Foundry Contribute to the development of training materials and documentation for Foundry users Work collaboratively within agile-inspired development methodologies.  Required Qualifications US Citizenship or Permanent Residency 1-5 years of Professional Software Development experience 1+ years of Data Engineering experience Hands-on Experience with Palantir Foundry Desired Experience  Experience working with manufacturing, industrial systems, or IoT data   Colorado law requires us to tell you the base compensation range of this role, which is $90,000 - $115,000, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
