Software Engineer Journeyman 1OM Group Inc. is hiring a Software Engineer Journeyman 1 to support the development enhancement and integration of mission-critical applications for the OHASIS and Socium GIS platforms. This role is ideal for a technically skilled developer who thrives in collaborative cross-functional teams and is committed to delivering secure high-quality solutions for DoD environments.Responsibilities:Provide application development enhancements and integration services for OHASIS and Socium GISCollaborate within a cross-functional team environmentSupport web-based application development and integration with geospatial technologiesRequirements:Minimum 4 years of software development experience within the past 10 yearsProficiency in web-based application development languages and frameworks (e.g. JavaScript Python )Experience with relational databases APIs and geospatial technologiesExperience managing server environments software configurations and system security controlsKnowledge of DoD cybersecurity requirements including RMF and ATO processes.Familiarity with cloud and on-premises environmentsFamiliarity with Agile or iterative development methodologiesProximity to the National Capital Region for occasional onsite workIAT Level II Certification (e.g. Security)Active Secret Security ClearanceContingent upon award; expected to begin in January 2026Compensation will be determined based on several factors including relevant experience education skills certifications and market conditions with an expected range of $110000 to $120000OM Group Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) committed to compliance with all applicable federal state and local employment laws.
