This role offers the chance to not only build but also refine and optimize, leaving a lasting impact on our engineering excellence and contributing significantly to our mission.What You'll Do* Make significant, independent technical contributions toward larger strategic goals, driving end-to-end engineering efforts* Identify and resolve technical challenges to ensure system integrity, performance, and reliability* Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including qualification, documentation, deployment, monitoring, automation, and customer support* Design, implement, and improve test, monitoring, and survey infrastructure and processes* Champion code health, maintainability, and long-term scalability* Develop and update documentation and educational content based on product changes and user feedback* Proactively triage, debug, track, and resolve complex issues across hardware, network, and service operations* Write high-quality development code with a high degree of autonomy* Perform comprehensive testing beyond unit tests, including integration, performance, stress, security, load, and fuzz testing* Conduct thorough code reviews to uphold engineering best practices* Identify and address technical debt to improve maintainability and modifiabilityRequired Skills & Experience* Deep proficiency in data structures and algorithms* Proven expertise in debugging, diagnosis, and resolving complex technical issues* Strong systems thinking and understanding of interconnected components* Solid background in test engineering principles and practices* Exceptional programming skills* Foundational knowledge of software architecture* Ability to perform data analysis and synthesis to guide decisions* Experience with software engineering system design* Commitment to code and system health best practices* Strong code comprehension abilitiesAbout Aquent TalentAquent Talent connects the best talent in marketing, creative, and design with the world's biggest brands.
