Please see below the details of this career opportunity and how it fits into our organizations success.Summary of the Job:The Software Engineer role is responsible for designing developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions that support FNBOs business objectives. This position collaborates with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements implement technical solutions and ensure software quality. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills problem-solving abilities and a service-oriented mindset to deliver solutions that address business needs. This role requires technical expertise effective communication skills and a customer-first approach to translate business requirements into reliable software solutions within our environment.About This Role:Design develop and C# and Angular applications and services according to business requirementsCollaborate with product managers business analysts and other stakeholders to understand and implement technical requirementsWrite clean efficient and maintainable code following established coding standards and best practicesConduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peersTroubleshoot debug and resolve software defects and performance issuesCreate and execute test plans to ensure software quality and reliabilityParticipate in agile development processes including sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectivesDocument technical specifications designs and processesContribute to continuous improvement initiatives for development processes and toolsMaintain a service-oriented approach prioritizing business needs and end-user experienceProactively communicate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and manage expectationsStay current with emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to the financial services sectorThe Ideal Candidate for This Role:Required: Bachelors degree in computer science Software Engineering or related technical field3-5 years of professional software development experience3-5 years of C# development3-5 years of professional Angular developmentFamiliarity with version control systems (Git preferred)Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologiesExperience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworksStrong service mindset with focus on delivering business valueAbility to translate business requirements into technical solutionsCommitment to quality and continuous improvementStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective written and verbal communication abilitiesWell-rounded understanding of RESTful API design and implementationDesired: Financial services industry experience preferred but not requiredStrong understanding of SQL database design and proficiency in writing complex SQL queriesExperience using LINQ with the ability to write efficient and maintainable queriesExperience Java developmentCandidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.Compensation:Compensation range (base pay): $77807.00-$128381.00This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience education and/or skill level.Work Environment: It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week. As part of our team youll experience the energy and relationship-building of face-to-face collaboration while still enjoying the flexibility of remote workdays.
