Software Engineer SeniorOM Group Inc. is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design development and integration of sophisticated software systems for DoD and Intelligence Community programs. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering guiding teams to deliver secure scalable and innovative solutions in a dynamic environment.Responsibilities:Lead software design development integration and testing for DoD and IC systems.Manage and mentor technical teams on DoD or IC programs/projectsOversee application development enhancements and integration servicesRequirements:Minimum 10 years of software development experience with at least 8 years in progressively complex roles for DoD and IC systemsAt least 7 years in a software engineering management position leading a technical team on a DoD or IC program/projectProficiency in web-based application development languages and frameworks (e.g. JavaScript Python )Experience with relational databases APIs and geospatial technologiesExperience managing server environments software configurations and system security controlsKnowledge of DoD cybersecurity requirements including RMF and ATO processesFamiliarity with cloud and on-premises environmentsFamiliarity with Agile or iterative development methodologiesIAT Level II Certification (e.g. Security)Active Secret Security ClearanceContingent upon award; expected to begin in January 2026Compensation will be determined based on several factors including relevant experience education skills certifications and market conditions with an expected range of $150000 - $175000OM Group Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) committed to compliance with all applicable federal state and local employment laws.
