Software Engineer Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Software Engineer for a contract position to work 100% remotely. The opportunity will be six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension. Position Summary: The Software Engineer will join our Research Custom Apps unit at the client to work on various projects involving front-end, back-end, database, and reporting technologies. He/She will primarily work with the team lead for work assignments and collaborate with the business users and other IT technical teams to gather requirements or additional information. This person will be responsible for developing, testing, documenting, and supporting web and mobile applications using a range of tools and platforms. You will also be required to provide on-call support as needed. Qualifications:Front-end: React and React Native. Languages: .NET, C# OS: Linux, Unix, Windows Back-end: REST API, Microservices, Node.js Databases: MSSQL, Postgres Tools: ADO, Visual Studio, JetBrains Suite, Playstore Apps Documentation: Functional, Technical specifications and support documentation Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field. Associate's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field with an additional two (2) years of experience as described below: Working knowledge and experience of Software Engineering Preferred:Front-end: Angular, Vue, Languages: JavaScript, TypeScript Databases: SQL, NonSQL- MongoDB or CouchDB, MS-Access Tools: SSMS, SSIS Reporting: SSRS, Power-BI, and Tableau Platforms: Azure, GCP OS: Linux, Unix, Windows General: Microsoft Office, SharePoint If this job is a match for your background, we would be honoured to receive your application!
