JOB TITLE: Software Engineer LOCATION: Fort Worth TX PAY RATE: $50-85/hour We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client. Create software test scripts using Python or SWAT for safety-critical qualification testing. Perform Software Quality Testing (SQT) onsite in lab environments. Develop Software Test Reports and lead reviews with internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with developers to diagnose issues and update test scripts. Automate manual test cases and maintain automation pipelines. Build and update Confluence dashboards using GitLab data. Communicate effectively in written and verbal formats. Flex and adapt schedules during formal testing based on test station availability. Requirements: 5 years Python scripting and Linux software development (SUSE or RedHat). 5 years functional test case development experience. 2 years authoring software requirements. 2 years experience with GitLab pipelines Jira and Agile software development. Strong oral and written communication skills. Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
