Position : Software Engineer Tulip (Experience in Manufacturing Medical Device Industry and Tulip)Location : Milpitas CADuration : 3 MonthsTotal Hours/week : 40.001st ShiftClient : Medical Devices CompanyJob Category : ITLevel of Experience : Senior LevelEmployment Type : Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens or GC Holders or GC EAD or OPT or EAD or CPTJOB DESCRIPTIONThe candidate will be responsible for creating and documenting applications within a cloud-based manufacturing execution system called Tulip. This candidate will collaborate design efforts with multiple teams to ensure that paper-based manufacturing and quality processes are accurately translated to electronic form. The candidate must be self-directed requiring minimal daily direction while collaborating with the team to achieve agreed upon scheduled deliverable work. The candidate will participate in an Agile software team.ResponsibilitiesWork independently to specify plan design develop test and support software components assignedContribute to project schedule generation including scope of work duration of tasks and order of executionMonitor work progress against schedule commitments reports progress to leadership in a timely fashion including when work will not be completed according to schedule milestonesPropose solutions to maintain schedule milestones including prioritizing efforts and monitor scope creepWork with team to establish necessary requirements specifications and test plans for software product validationsResponsible for translating requirements into design and implementation of well-structured and documented software componentsImplement new software component designs or enhancements to existing software products; participate in the implementation of more complex subsystems and systemsTroubleshoot/debug issues within existing automation systems and implement modifications to resolve these issuesParticipate in technical design reviews and code inspectionsInsure adherence to client development policies and proceduresEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements including 21 CFR part 11 requirements client quality standards and conveys an expectation of high-quality softwareQualificationsRequire a BS degree in Computer Science Process Engineering Continuous Improvement or a related Engineering discipline with software development experienceExcellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills are essentialMinimum 3 years of relevant experienceKnowledge of software development in a process oriented/regulated environment and adhering to a quality management systemExperience with Agile software developmentKnowledge of Automation/Process Control experienceDesirable SkillsApplication development experience using TulipExperience in MES developmentExperience working in an FDA/ISO-regulated environmentExperience with software languages including C# JavaScript and SQL ServerExperience with Power BISoftware development with a focus on UX designIT infrastructure/ hardware knowledge Key Skills Lean Manufacturing,Six Sigma,CNC Programming,Lean,Machining,Tooling,CAD,CNC,Assembly Experience,SolidWorks,Kaizen,Manufacturing Experience: years Vacancy: 1
