This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) & Boeing Global Services (BGS) Software Engineering organization.Theroleincludes developing, integrating, bug resolution, and testing C++/C# software for controlling NDI equipment and ATE electrical equipment, updating User Interfaces (UI's), and development of functional and unit tests for the software. The NDI equipment controlled by software includes robotics, LIDAR, ultrasound, and electrical test equipment. The ATE equipment controlled by software includes but not limited to digital, analog, Radio Frequency (RF) -Wifiand Cellular, communication busses, power, and display test equipment. The ATE job also includes supporting updates to the test executive/sequence software.The candidates will alsobe responsible formaintenance and setup (for NDI) of ourDevSecOpsContinuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and Windows runners in GitLab.Position Responsibilities:Supports the design, development, test, debugging and maintenance of software that is integrated into embedded devices and systems and meets industry, customer,safetyand regulation standardsAssistswith review, analysis, and translation of customer requirements into the design of software products for embedded devices and systemsSupports building and writing code for embedded systems software to run on specific specialized hardwareContributes to integration of embedded software with hardware componentsSupports analysis, monitoring and improving the efficiency and stability of embedded software systemsParticipates in testing and debugging software for embedded devices and systemsSupports implementation of current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and changes in regulations relevant to software development and hardware technologiesSupports tracking and evaluation of internal and supplier software team performance to ensure product and process compliance to project plans and industry standardsAssistswith performing embedded software project management functionsCommunicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information and issuesimpactingdesign, production, and support of products, services, or other deliverablesBasicQualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):Ability to Obtain U.S. Security Clearance and Special Program Access2+ years of experience with C,C++or C#Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science3+years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience1+ years of working knowledge of GitLab2+ years of experience with integration of embedded software onto hardware1+ yr interpreting electrical engineering drawings, schematics, and definitionKnowledge of specification format requirements, guidelines, and change control processes Understanding of relationship between specifications/standards andaircraft/product certification systemsKnowledge of various engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, and systemsKnowledge of programming languages (e.g., C++, C#, C, Assembly, Ladder Logic, Numerical Control (NC) Programming, Matlab).
