Software QA engineer- ARVR at FocusKPI

FocusKPI isseeking aSoftware QA engineer- AR/VRto join one of our clients a high-tech SaaS company.Work Location:Mountain View CA(Onsite role 4 days/week onsite)Duration:12-monthcontract with potential to convert depending on the candidates performancePay Range:$55/hr to $64/hr**No C2C resumes are considered**Responsibilities:You will take an active role in shaping the quality of the teamsemerging software. This will demand deep integration with their development engineers developing testing plans and test cases on both functional and non-functional bug triaging and supporting design reviewsEnsure comprehensive test coverageRun daily sanity and Weekly regression testsEnd-to-end defect reporting and trackingAnalyzing quality data identifying areas of improvement and implementing innovative ideas to improve qualityTroubleshoot triage and provide detailed debug information to expedite issue resolutionCommunication with cross-functional and partner teams across locationsQualifications:Minimum of 4 years of experience in Testing along with 1 years experience in testing XR(AR/VR) platforms or applicationsA bachelors degree is required as a minimum qualification and having a higher degree is great to haveA solid experience working with testing headsets (S/W testing but not anything hardware)Experience testing AR/VR headsets/ solutions and Android applications in AR/VRExcellent understanding of QA processes and methodologiesExperience with non-functional testing (performance stress memory etc.) of XR applications/frameworksMandatory experience working for acompany who manufactures headsets and worked with headsetsearlier to be consideredFamiliarity with game development and game engines i.e. Unity or Unrealis a plusHands-on Experience with Python or Java programming language is a plusTesting experience with generative AI applications or models is a plusWho you are:Customer-centric: Anybody you interact with can be considered a customerDeep-diver: Curious about everything and insists on understanding the big pictureInspirational: Motivates self and others always working towards a solutionQuality advocate: Maintain high product quality standardsInnovator: Constantly on the lookout for improving what we doProactive: self-starter with a keen eye for details with focus on end-user experiences and ability to go above and beyond to ensure a high-quality release in a fast-paced and changing environment**No C2C resumes are considered**Thank you!FocusKPI Hiring TeamFounded in 2010 FocusKPI Inc.
