MicroHealth is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Tester with extensive experience in both manual and automated testing methodologies with a focus on ensuring software quality through comprehensive testing processes.Responsibilities:Design develop and execute test plans test cases and test scriptsPerform manual and automated testing across multiple platforms and environmentsConduct regression testing to ensure new code changes dont affect existing functionalityExecute user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate software meets business requirementsIdentify document and track software defects using bug tracking systemsCollaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve identified issuesPerform database testing to ensure data integrity andvalidationConduct performance and load testing to identify bottlenecksExecute security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security protocolsCreate and maintain comprehensive test documentationRequired Technical Skills:Testing Methodologies:Experience with various testing approaches (manual and automated)Knowledge of test case design and executionProficiency in regression testing and user acceptance testing (UAT)Automation Tools:Experience with test automation frameworks and toolsAbility to create and maintain automated test scriptsExperience with generating and executing automated test scriptsProgramming knowledge:Basic understanding of programming languages ( SQL Server)Ability to read and understand code to effectively testitDebug issues in both test and application codeDatabase Knowledge:Understanding of SQL for testing database componentsExperience testing data integrity and validationPerformance Testing:Proficiency in load testing methodologiesAbility to identify performance bottlenecksExperience with performance profiling toolsSecurity Testing:Knowledge of common security vulnerabilities (e.g. OWASP Top Ten)Experience in testing authentication and authorization mechanismsUnderstanding of data encryption and security protocolsRequired Analytical Skills:Problem solving:Strong troubleshooting skills to identify root causes of issuesAbility to analyze error logs and reportsExperience in resolving issues through systematic debugging techniquesData Validation:Proficiency in identifying patterns and inconsistencies in large datasetsExperience in developing automated scripts for data validationAttention to detail when handling large volumes of dataDocumentation:Ability to create comprehensive test documentationExperience in writing clear bug reportsSkills in creating test plans and test casesQualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)10 years of experience in software quality assurance testingCertification in software testing (ISTQB CSTE) preferredExperience working in an Agile development environmentPhysical Demands:While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit.
