If you enjoy solving technical challenges in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!How you will make an impact:Develop comprehensive user expertise with assigned applications and system componentsPerform thorough functional, regression, and integration testing of Android-based systemsValidate application behavior across various use cases and scenariosCreate detailed System Test Procedures (STPs) based on project requirements and specificationsEstablish full requirements traceability by linking STPs to IBM DOORSMaintain and update test documentation to reflect current system functionalityExecute System Test Procedures according to established test schedulesTest developer software changes and modifications thoroughlyDocument comprehensive testing notes for recordkeepingVerify fixes and validate that changes meet acceptance criteriaIdentify, document, and create Software Change Requests for discovered defectsProvide detailed reproduction steps, logs, and supporting evidenceTrack defects through resolution and verify fixesAssist in running automated test suitesAggregate, analyze, and report automated test resultsCollaborate across engineering and QA disciplines to improve test coverageTo be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)2+ years of experience in software testing or quality assuranceExperience with requirements management tools, preferably IBM DOORSExperience with defect tracking and ALM tools, preferably Helix ALMProficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test proceduresStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and documentation skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environmentThe following experience/skills are a bonus:Experience with Android system-level testing and debuggingFamiliarity with ADB (Android Debug Bridge) and other Android testing toolsUnderstanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologiesRequirements traceability (IBM DOORS)Defect/change management (Helix ALM)Test case management and executionLog analysis and debuggingAutomated testing tools and frameworksRequirements analysis and validationKey competencies:Strong communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into test scenariosMethodical and systematic approach to testingProactive problem identification and timely issue resolutionCommitment to quality and continuous improvementAdaptability to changing project requirements and prioritiesAbout DEKAOne hour from the beach, Boston, and the mountains, the historic Amoskeag Millyard once housed the largest textile mills in the world.
