We're looking for a motivated Customer Support Technical Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical issues and working directly with customers. If you're comfortable in a Linux environment, love troubleshooting, and want to grow your skills in networking, communication protocols, and Axway's enterprise integration tools, we want to talk to you. ResponsibilitiesProvide hands-on troubleshooting, diagnostics, and problem replication for customer issuesSupport application functionality as well as the surrounding environment (OS-especially Linux, database, network, etc.)Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and web tickets within target SLAsLead customers through issue resolution with clear communication and strong ownershipAct as a bridge between customers and escalation teams, ensuring issues meet escalation readinessMaintain up-to-date knowledge of Axway productsDocument all interactions in CRMParticipate in beta/sprint support for assigned productsOccasional travel for onsite troubleshootingParticipate in after-hours on-call rotation.QualificationsMust-Have Skills1-3 years experience in technical support, IT helpdesk, software/application troubleshooting, or similar hands-on technical roleStrong familiarity with Linux commands, navigation, logs, and environment troubleshootingExperience supporting or debugging issues in client-server or enterprise application environmentsBasic proficiency with SQL and database concepts (Oracle experience is a plus)Understanding of core internet and communication protocols such as FTP/SFTP, HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP, SSH, SSL/TLSStrong analytical thinking and curiosity-driven problem solvingExcellent communication skills and comfort working directly with customersNice-to-Have SkillsExposure to programming or scripting languages (Java, Perl, Python, Bash)Experience with networking fundamentals, connectivity troubleshooting, and certificatesWindows server experienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)Company Overview At Axway, we're more than a company-we're a pioneer.
