Software UX Lead at Fortive

DescriptionAs a Software UX Lead will be responsible for leading the user experience design efforts across various digital platforms. This role involves working closely with product managers developers and other stakeholders to create intuitive effective and engaging user experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UX design excellent leadership skills and a passion for creating user-centered products.Key Responsibilities:Lead the UX design team providing guidance mentorship and support.Develop and implement UX strategies that align with the overall business goals.Advocate for best practices in UX design and ensure a user-centered design approach.Create wireframes prototypes and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications.Collaborate with UI designers to ensure cohesive and visually appealing designs.Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results.Work closely with cross-functional teams including product management engineering marketing and customer support.Communicate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and team members.Qualifications:Bachelors or Masters degree in UX Design Human-Computer Interaction Interaction Design or a related field.5 years of experience in UX design with at least 2 years in a leadership role.Proven track record of designing successful digital products and experiences.Strong proficiency in UX design tools such as Sketch Figma Adobe XD or similar.Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.Experience with user research methods and usability testing.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Exceptional communication and presentation skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working in an Agile development environment.Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript) is a plus.
