Sonographer – Breast Imaging

🕒 Full-Time / PRN / As Needed – Flexible Schedule
We are seeking a Sonographer to join one of the most prestigious breast specialty clinics in the Watertown, NY area. This state-of-the-art center is dedicated to delivering exceptional diagnostic imaging services in support of oncology patients.
This is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to world-class patient care while enjoying the flexibility of a PRN schedule — with no required nights or weekends unless preferred.
While flexibility is important in this role, the scheduling manager works closely with each team member to accommodate availability and minimize unnecessary travel. There may also be opportunities to support additional nearby clinic locations as needed.
Position Overview
In this role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound imaging to support the care and treatment planning of breast and oncology patients. You will collaborate closely with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality breast and general ultrasound imaging
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and compassionate care throughout procedures
- Operate sonography equipment and maintain accurate documentation
- Review images for quality, accuracy, and completeness
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support timely diagnoses
- Assist with equipment troubleshooting as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography program
- Current ARDMS certification (AB, OB/GYN, or Breast registry strongly preferred)
- New York State licensure (if applicable by modality)
- Prior breast or oncology imaging experience preferred, but not required
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $40–$50/hour
