Location:Abilene Maternal Fetal MedicineDepartment:Maternal Fetal MedicineShift:First Shift (United States of America)Standard Weekly Hours:12Summary:The Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer under the supervision of a qualified physician for diagnosis and treatment performs a wide-range of high-risk perinatal diagnostic sonographic procedures using high-frequency sound waves to assess fetal development maternal and fetal anatomy and vascular structures. The role requires specialized skills in maternal-fetal imaging and supports the evaluation diagnosis and care of complex pregnancies within the ambulatory setting.Schedule:PRN - as neededQualifications:High School Diploma GED or equivalent requiredCompletion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography programMinimum 1 year of experience in high-risk obstetric ultrasound in a hospital or maternal-fetal medicine settingARDMS certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) requiredBLS (Basic Life Support) certification requiredAbout Cook Childrens:Our not-for-profit organization is comprised of a flagship medical center in Fort Worth Texas a new medical center in Prosper Texas a physician network home health company surgery centers health plan health services and health foundation.
