Sonographer at Pride Health

Pride Health is hiring for a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Maternal Fetal Medicine) to support our client’s medical facility. This is 14 weeks of contract job opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Details:

• Perform routine and comprehensive obstetric and fetal ultrasound examinations for interpretation by Maternal Fetal Medicine and Radiology physicians
• Obtain, review, and integrate patient history and clinical data to facilitate accurate diagnostic results
• Capture, annotate, and process high-quality sonographic images while independently differentiating between normal and pathological findings
• Extend examination scope as needed based on pathology or abnormal findings
• Educate patients regarding ultrasound procedures while maintaining a safe and supportive environment

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program – Required
• Minimum 3 years of experience – Required
• RDMS-OB (ARDMS) – Required
• RDMS-FE (Fetal Echocardiography, ARDMS) – Required
• Broad knowledge of ultrasound physics, anatomy, pathology, and hemodynamics
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• English (Read, Write, Speak) – Required
• Nuchal Translucency Certification (Perinatal Quality Foundation) – Preferred

• Location: Austin, Texas, 78717
• Job Type: 14 weeks contract
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM (may vary based on clinic schedule)
• Hours: 40 hours/week (Guaranteed)
• Local's Pay Range: $58-$64/hour
• Travel Gross Pay Range: $2500-$2700/Week

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
