Responsibilities1. Reporting & AnalyticsPrepare sourcing pipeline reports and dashboardsAnalyze spend data and supplier quotationsTrack key sourcing metrics (e.g. cost savings cycle time)2. Research & Market AnalysisConduct supplier and market researchBenchmark pricing and supplier capabilitiesSupport demand forecasting and category analysis3. Coordination & Administrative SupportSchedule vendor meetings and internal callsMaintain supplier contact lists and documentationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather sourcing inputs4. Pipeline ManagementConsolidate sourcing project pipeline dataMonitor project status and renewal timelinesMaintain contract renewal calendars and alerts5. Special ProjectsAssist with small sourcing events (e.g. RFQs) under guidanceContribute to process improvements and reporting tool enhancementsQualificationsTargeting students majoring in Supply Chain Business Economics or related fieldsExpected graduation year: Strong communication analytical and relationship-building skillsInterest in developing expertise in indirect procurementCuriosity about the relationship between sourcing and business operationsWillingness to work with global stakeholders and cross-functional teamsDesire to understand contract management and renewal processesEnthusiasm for gaining exposure to various areas of business both internally and externallyPTC carefully considers a wide variety of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated average hourly rate for this position is $32/hour. This rate reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
