Job Description SummaryThe Sourcing Operations Leader will lead the integrated operations of Supplier Quality and Sourcing Lean for the Buy value stream. This leader will drive operational execution through a supplier commodity-based structure to deliver performance aligned with GE Vernovas priorities for Safety Quality Delivery and Cost (SQDC).This role will collaborate with Business Line and Lifecycle COE/Function Business Operations Leaders as well as the Business Operations COE to drive end-to-end operational excellence across the entire workstream - Win Design Buy Build and Execute - strategy to continue to advance our Lean Operating Method (MOR Hoshin Kanri Daily Management Lean roadmap and Kaizen).Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Drive zero-defect culture across Gas Power supply basePartner closely with Sourcing Engineering Field Services and Supply Chain to drive a Supplier Quality strategy including supplier qualification development performance and issue resolutionChampion Stop Work culture systemic root cause elimination and Read AcrossPartner with Global Supply Chain Engineering and Product leaders to improve operational KPIs across the 4 VS leveraging our Lean Operating Method (MOR HK Lean roadmap DM and Kaizen)Ensure Lean deployment across Supplier Quality using tools such as VSM 5S standard work connected flow and visual managementBenchmark and cascade best practices across supply base globallyChampion a culture of safety ownership proactively identifying and mitigating operational hazards and ensuring all facilities operate with a prevention-first mindset. Also Ensure full alignment and integration of EHS into daily operations and strategic initiativesEnsure that operational leaders are accountable for EHS outcomes consistent with the GE Vernova Way and the Global Supply Chain EHS strategyBuild a high-performing resilient organization through people development cross-functional collaboration and a focus on Lean Quality Supplier Quality and EHS excellenceRequired Qualifications:Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college in a relevant field or the equivalent knowledge/experienceSignificant experience in Quality Lean EHS and Supply ChainOperational experience in sourcing or supplier qualityExpertise in lean problem-solving tools including A3 and 8DDemonstrated experience leading transformation in a dynamic environmentEnglish fluencyTravel as needed to drive strategy support problem solving at supplier and manufacturing sites and connect with teamDesired Characteristics:Masters degree in Engineering or Supply ChainDemonstrated experience leading and developing Quality policies procedures and practices in demanding Quality-focused industries (e.g. automotive aviation)Experience leading process simplification in a Quality contextOutstanding interpersonal and leadership skills capable of influencing and driving a strategic change agenda across the organizationChange agent with strong credibility at all levels of the organizationStrong communication skills experience working and leading cross-culturallyStrong analytical skills with ability to identify and explain critical issuesAbility to work effectively across functions and countriesProven mentoring and coaching abilities; demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire othersGlobal ExperienceFor candidates applying to a U.S. based position the pay range for this position is between $232000 to $348000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set.If contracted in Spain:Non-national candidates are responsible to know the minimum documentation requirements to be able to be contracted in country: EU Work Permit NIE- Social Security Affiliation Number in Spain (NAF) and Bank Account in Spain.
