Procurement proactively delivers a simplified and efficient solution that improves our customers experience while ensuring compliance/risk mitigation and identifying cost savings opportunities.At Cadence we hire and develop leaders and innovators who want to impact the world of technology.Job Overview:This role will operate within the Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) Team under Sourcing and Contract Management and partner closely with key stakeholders to support projects as necessary.Job Responsibilities:Collaborate with Sourcing managers to meet company objectives as you produce implement and support sourcing strategies that ensure best valueManage and prioritize the project stream working with internal stakeholders to determine project definition and business requirementsManage and monitor supplier performance using meaningful and objective KPI measurements and periodic business reviewsVerify and maintain accurate supplier data including tax and bank information quotations and legal agreementsReconcile outstanding invoices and resolve discrepancies through proactive customer/stakeholder engagementAssist competitive bidding using a multi-step sourcing process and utilization of RFx.Support Procurement / Contracts Projects as required.Job Qualifications:An interest in Procurement and Supplier Chain activities working within a team with a focus on building knowledge and experience in a global technology companyCustomer-focused mindsetCritical thinking and problem solvingExcellent decision-making and leadership capabilitiesConflict resolution experienceAdaptabilityThrive and create a collaborative work environmentDetail oriented and well organizedGood verbal and written communication skills (with team stakeholders and management)Education and Experience: Currently enrolled in a BS/MS in Procurement/Business Administration or equivalentGeneral understanding of procurement supplier chain and supplier managementGood working knowledge of Microsoft applications: Word Excel and PowerPointExperience with eProcurement technologies a plus (i.e. Coupa Ariba Oracle)Facilitation skills to collaborate with stakeholders and within Global Strategic SourcingGood teamwork and influencing skillsCan commit from January to May 2026Ability to relocate to the Bay Area California for the duration of the internshipAdditional Information:Cadence is committed to equal employment opportunity and employment equity throughout all levels of the organization.
