Job DescriptionJob Description Job Title: Sourcing Specialist Location: Kansas City, MO Position Summary: We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Sourcing Specialist to join our procurement team. This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sourcing strategies, purchasing processes, and supplier relationship management. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute sourcing strategies to support business objectives. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and service. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve optimal value. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and specifications. Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or cost. Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, contracts, and supplier information. Analyze market trends and supply chain risks to inform sourcing decisions. Support continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes and systems. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management. Proven track record of successful supplier negotiations and cost savings. Strong analytical and project management skills. Proficiency in sourcing tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
