Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Sous ChefLocation: Lake Charles, LASalary: $50k - $60k (DOE) Benefits: Relocation Expenses, Bonuses, Full Benefits About Company / Opportunity:Large casino and resort with multiple F&B operations onsite is seeking to add a Sous Chef to their team. Must have experience working in fast paced, high volume kitchens managing large teams!What do we seek?You will be second-in-command in the kitchen, directly assisting the Executive Chef. You will oversee the kitchen staff, manage the kitchen in the Executive Chef's absence, and contribute to menu planning and execution. Sous Chefs are responsible for training and mentoring junior staff, and often have a specialty, requiring a good general understanding of the entire kitchen process.Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable experience.Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals.Must present an image of excitement and enthusiasm, while being able to project a professional appearance and demeanor.Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.Display strong work ethic and teamwork.If interested in applying, please send resume to: [email protected]
