Spanish Teacher 9-12 at Texarkana School District

The Texarkana Arkansas School District is accepting applications for 6-8 Spanish teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Applicants must pass a national criminal background check and a background check through the Arkansas Child Maltreatment Central Registry prior to employment.PRIMARY PURPOSE:Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual emotional physical and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Certification:Bachelors degree from accredited universityValid Arkansas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assignedSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Knowledge of subjects assignedGeneral knowledge of curriculum and instructionAbility to instruct students and manage their behaviorStrong organizational communication and interpersonal skillsExperience:At least one year of student teaching or approved internshipThe Board may find appropriate and acceptable alternatives to the above qualifications.
