Quality Production SpclstCompany:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Boeing Fabricationis looking forexperienced Quality Production Specialiststo support the Material Review Board (MRB) and Quality Investigation (QAI) team inAuburn Washington.The MRBD will support IAS/AMS Fabrication by performing a review of non-conformance records and generate non-conformance this role one will be expected to: collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders track respond and communication to support the program. Above all Employees will be provided with the opportunity to seek speak and listen within the organization which they are encouraged to share externally with each Boeing customer to build balanced work relationships.Position Responsibilities:Reviews and validates product non-conformance (NCR/EPD) and disposition type quality procedures and engineering requirementsPerform analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products operations and processes to Quality Management System requirements applicable company procedures contract requirements or government regulationsApplies knowledge of aerospace design systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systemsPerforms root cause analysis on the nonconformance to identify the cause and prevent reoccurrenceCoordinates review with Boeing Engineering Program Quality and Supplier representatives to implement disposition for nonconforming partsIndependently develop modify and document NCOsInvestigate supplier Notices of Investigation (NoIs) and Notices of Escapement (NoEs) in order to document and control supplier quality escapements which enter the Boeing Production SystemObtains corrective action on nonconforming plans and hardware/processesNegotiates concurrence obtains commitments for taking preventive and corrective action prioritizes quality activities and ensures problem resolutionReviews and validates the corrective action plans and identifies effectivity to ensure completionReviews and approves Quality planning changes or disposition of nonconformance hardware products/processesCoordinates review with Boeing Engineering Program Quality and Supplier representatives to implement disposition for nonconforming partsReviews and implements corrective action on audit results to ensure media is stored and handled per engineering defined requirementsInterprets industry standards and provide recommendations for implementationCreates analytical reports and coordinates with the entities responsible for internal/external distributionWork under general directionBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3 years of experience with reading engineering blueprints/drawings3 years of experience working with quality and/or manufacturing data systems3 years of experience with Common Manufacturing Execution System (CMES) or an equivalent3 years of experience with Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and PowerPointMust be able to work variable shifts including weekends and overtime as neededPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):4 years of experience with REDARS2 years Material Review Board experience2 years of experience with systematic problem-solving skillsDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria are met as outlined in our policies.Union:This is a union- represented positionTotal Rewards:At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
